As a visiting artist, Tim Bowers offers an educational and entertaining look into the making of a children's book. Just as an author carefully chooses words to tell a story, Tim shares the challenges and choices that an artist faces, to tell a story with pictures. Bowers uses humor, examples and drawing demonstrations to explain how an idea goes from a sketch to the printed book, where words and art work together.
